The Dana Cortez Show Takes Over Mornings on Lotus Communications’ KSEQ-FM Fresno

(September 21, 2026) – Q97.1 hands the baton to The Dana Cortez Show as Fresno’s Greg & Dre step away from mornings after 25 years

FRESNO, Calif. – The Dana Cortez Show, through its national syndication partner, Skyview Networks, announced today the addition of Lotus Communications’ KSEQ-FM (Q97.1) Fresno, CA to its affiliate network. Beginning today, Dana Cortez and her co-hosts, DJ Automatic and Anthony A., take over morning drive on Q97.1, succeeding the Greg & Dre Morning Show after a 25-year run in Central California. 

“After 25 years of entertaining Central California, Greg and Dre are retiring from morning radio. Remaining top three in the ratings for over two decades, it was an unbelievable run of success for the morning duo,” said Greg Hoffman, host of the Greg & Dre Morning Show and Operations Manager for Lotus Communications Fresno. “Dana and her team will bring content, interaction and opinions that will be very relatable to the Mexican American community in Central California. It is a passing of the torch by Fresno legends Greg and Dre, to the new voice of the Latino community in the morning, The Dana Cortez Show!” 

Fresno joins a growing network of major market affiliates carrying The Dana Cortez Show, including KHMX-FM Houston, KKFR-FM Phoenix, KBBT-FM San Antonio, KQKS-FM Denver and KSFM-FM Sacramento. The show is heard daily across those markets and many more, reaching a Latino audience among the fastest growing and most underserved in American radio. 

For Cortez, DJ Automatic and Anthony A., it was important to be in Fresno in person for the launch, celebrating the new partnership alongside the station and the audience they will now be connecting with every day. The team joined listeners at the Party in the Park Festival at Woodward Park on Sunday, September 20th, where the lineup featured Wiz Khalifa, Fetty Wap, DaBaby, Bow Wow, Soulja Boy and Petey Pablo. Being in the market the same weekend a 25-year local franchise hands over the daypart gives Q97.1 a live local moment rather than a switch.
