(February 18, 2026) – Throwback Brands’ Throwback 2K program, hosted by Chris Cruise, through its national syndication partner, Skyview Networks, announced today its expansion into weekdays this month as it celebrates five years on air. Known for its high-energy early 2000s throwback hits, this new chapter marks a major milestone in the show’s rapid growth and continued success.
“Hold on, so you’re telling me we’re now going to be playing throwbacks from the 2000s during the week too? That’s so fetch,” said Chris Cruise.
Originally only airing Friday through Sunday, the program will now be available to air seven days a week, bringing the nostalgia and energy of the early 2000s hits to its affiliates every day. Designed with local programming flexibility in mind, the weekday version of Throwback 2K offers a unique structure that allows stations to air the show in a way that best serves their audience, format and music strategy. The show features one produced hour of early 2000s hits, supported by four hours of personality-driven voice tracks and content, giving stations the ability to showcase a daily 2K feature while maintaining control of their standard format and playlist.
“Our affiliates have been asking for more Chris Cruise for years, and with the addition of this new show, we’re happy to give them more great 2000s throwbacks, combined with their own playlist, to solve some of their programming needs,” added Tony Lorino, Founder and CEO of Throwback Brands. “Chris has been creating great radio and multi-platform content for years, and Throwback 2K Daily will help us connect that via their on-air and social channels in more ways than ever.”
Since its launch in January 2021, Throwback 2K has emerged as a proven success story, now reaching listeners on 75 affiliates nationwide. The weekday evolution reflects increasing demand from stations seeking engaging, high-quality content that delivers results while fitting seamlessly into existing programming strategies.
“Throwback 2K has proven itself as a standout program with a highly engaged audience, and this weekday rollout takes that value even further,” said Andrew Kalb, EVP, Strategic Business Operations of Skyview Networks. “The growth into weekdays delivers increased scale and frequency for network advertisers, while giving affiliates a customizable product that strengthens both ratings and revenue.”
